I'm David Matousek, based in Boston, MA, and the author of Agentic-Oriented Development, a governance methodology for AI-assisted software delivery. I've spent more than 20 years in cybersecurity, and I built AOD because I needed it for my own work: a way to keep agent-assisted SDLC honest under the pressure that lets vibe coding through the gate.
The methodology is shipped in the AOD-Kit GitHub repository: the template, the constitution, the lifecycle commands, and the Triad governance pattern (PM, then Architect, then Team-Lead sign-offs on every spec, plan, and tasks artifact). The most practical application I have built using it is Tachi, a working project that exercises the lifecycle end-to-end. I write about the same problems on Medium @davidmatousek; recent pieces include "From Context to Knowledge," "Test-Driven Development for Agents," and "Evals and Loops." For longer-form context, davidmatousek.com.

Agentic-Oriented Development is also a long-form article series — the thinking behind the methodology, chapter by chapter. The series covers governance, the Triad, the SDLC lifecycle, and the practitioner trade-offs that shaped each lock. Read the chapters in order if you want the full arc, or skim the index below.
